Striving Greed

Where oh where are you that I seek?

It is you, yes you, that devours the weak,

Although we win you are without defeat,
You havent nor will you ever show mercy,

You corrupt the foundation from beneath our feet,

Your unforgiving wiles seem to never skip a beat,

Where oh where are you that I seek?

Is it I who needs you? Or is it you that needs me?

Me, Myself, and I

As I sit on my bed in the unforgiving night,
Falling in the knowledge that it’s just me myself and I,

I miss, so dearly, and desire, so much,
For your presence beside me and as loving as such,

For as my love and my pleasure begs for your embrace,
I sit alone upon thy bed as my heart endures the endless chase,

Pondering of the moment in which I can see your face again,
Not only are you my lover but my never ending friend,

As I wait in the room in which I call my own,
I wonder the color of your thoughts and of its graceful tone,

Never should I forsake those indivisible three,
Who’s name I can never forget, I, myself and me.

The Choice Between Two Suns

Brightly shining are these two Suns,

But not knowing what they’ll become.

Both are sweet,

And both are kind,

Maybe I’ll know in due time,

How it is they’ll be mine.

.

One enduring through my life,

The other found without strife,

Shall it be,

None for me?

Or shall it be,

One for me?

.

There is a time,

In someone’s life,

That they are given a choice to strive,

A choice to live without a love,

A choice to give one above,

A choice that cannot be shunned,

A choice between two Suns.

.

Can I wait for one Sun?

Whilst being with another one?

I’m torn in this decision that I must make,

Will it be a heart that I must break?

A faithful man I could be,

A lonely man I may have to be.

.

One Sun willing,

The other one thrilling,

Shall it be,

None for me?

Or shall it be,

One for me?

.

There is a time,

In someone’s life,

That they are given a choice to strive,

A choice to live without a love,

A choice to give one above,

A choice that cannot be shunned,

A choice between two Suns.

.

Between two Suns I must choose,

With any choice I will win and lose,

Oh Lord, Oh God, what do I do?

With each choice I know what may ensue.

I will find my way with one,

And lose my way with the other Sun,

Will there be,

A Sun for me,

Or will there be,

Not one for me?

.

Now comes that time,

In my life,

That I am given a choice to strive,

A choice to live without a love,

A choice to give one above,

A choice that cannot be shunned,

A choice between my two Suns.
