Airborne WWII

.

Terror terror, from the sky above,

As we borne from where we love,

A newfound skill in which we honed,

Through success will bring us home,

Metal flying and thunder erupt,

Some bodies fall whilst spirits up,

Darkness surrounds as blood drips red,

Lead impacts the already dead,

While one is captive by his fright,

His fellow brother holds him tight,

In this chaos can we hold our sanity,

As we war with our humanity.
